An EXTRAORDINARY GENERAL MEETING
of the NORTH STAFFS (Group of) ADVANCED DRIVERS
will take place via video conference on
Thursday 26th August 2021 at 7.00 pm
CALLING NOTICE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN by order of the Group Committee that an Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) of the NORTH STAFFS (Group of) ADVANCED DRIVERS [hereinafter referred to as NSAD – Registered Charity No.1100497] will be held at 7.00pm on Thursday 26th August 2021, via video conference, to enable the Chairman of the Group to present the following proposals to the Group membership:
1. That NSAD should submit an application to IAM Roadsmart to expand its business operation to include motorcyclists.
2. That NSAD should change its registered name from North Staffs Advanced Drivers to North Staffs Advanced Drivers and Riders (NSADR).
3. That the Group Committee be provided with the necessary delegated authority (by the Group membership) to negotiate with IAM Roadsmart on the details of the changes in proposals 1 and 2.
All members, associates and friends are invited to attend but only fully paid up
members of IAM Roadsmart and of the NSAD Group may vote.
A member entitled to vote at the Extraordinary General Meeting may appoint a proxy to vote in his/her stead. A proxy need not be a full member of the Group.

Alternatively members can email the Group Membership Secretary at:
membership@nsam.org.uk with their votes in relation to the three proposals.
Please state clearly whether you are FOR or AGAINST each of the three proposals as stated above.
