The 58th ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING (AGM) of the NORTH STAFFS (Group of) ADVANCED DRIVERS AND RIDERS (NSADR) is at Sandyford Community Fire Station on Thursday 8th February 2024 at 7.30 pm.  Please come along if you can.

  INIVITATION TO AGM   AGM Notice

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN by order of the Group Committee that the 58th Annual General Meeting of North Staffordshire Advanced Drivers and Riders (NSADR) will be held at Sandyford Community Fire Station, Marlborough Way, Stoke-on-Trent, ST6 5ED at 7:30pm on Thursday 8th February 2024 to enable the Trustees of the Group (Registered Charity No. 1100497) to present their Annual Report and Accounts for the year ended 31st December 2023 for approval by the Group Full Members and to conduct an election.

All Group Full Members, Associates and Friends are invited to attend but only Group Full Members may vote. A Member entitled to vote at the General Meeting may appoint a proxy to vote in his/her stead. A proxy need not be a Group Full Member.

All officers retire annually and may offer themselves for re-election.  Chair: Steve Williams – will stand
Vice Chair: Ian Kinder – will stand
Secretary: Paul Crowther – will stand
Treasurer: Phil McCue – will stand
  Committee Members

One third of the Committee must retire annually and may offer themselves for re-election

Committee Nomination

Nominations are invited from Group Full Members to stand as officers or for the Committee. The Nominee is invited to write to the Group Secretary at: secretary@nsam.org.uk at least 7 days before the date of the AGM stating their intention to stand and in which capacity (officer or committee member).
 
In applying the Nominee is affirming his/her ability and intention, if elected, to attend committee meetings regularly. Those elected become Charity Trustees of the Group.
 
NOTE:  You may not stand for the Committee if the law debars you from being a Charity Trustee. Only Group Full Members may nominate Committee Members or be nominated as Committee Members.

We are looking forward to seeing as many of you as possible at the AGM.
